Juventude lost to Operário on Friday night, opening the 12th round of Série B. Coach Maurício Barbieri was expelled at the end of the match. Barbieri received a red card at 52 minutes of the second half, after a complaint with the referee in an irregularity marked in a gaúcho team attack. His assistant, Diego Almeida, was expelled in the first half, also for a complaint. – It was all very confusing. Their bench was complaining, ours also complained and the fourth referee said that the next (to complain) he would put out, without any criteria. Then Diego raised to question a foul and he understood that he had to expel Diego – said. – In relation to me, at the end he (the referee) marked something that I did not understand, in one of our attacks, and I questioned him, I did not fail with education, neither with him, nor with anyone. Someone from Operário's bench insulted me and I retaliated, but without directing it to anyone. I questioned the referee at the end of the game and he said that the fourth referee ordered me to be expelled. I really did not understand – commented Barbieri. The gaúcho team went behind the score in the first half. Just at the beginning of the second half, the equalizer came on the feet of Raí Silva. The goal that sealed the defeat, however, came at 48 minutes of the second half, after a penalty shot by Boschilia. – We took goals in two of our own errors, which were fatal. The team was well, but we felt the lack of pieces that are out. It's a result that takes us away from the top – admitted. With the defeat, Juventude remains with 16 points, temporarily falls to 11th place and waits for the end of the round. The team returns to the field on the next Sunday, day 14, when it receives Ponte Preta at Alfredo Jaconi.
