How was the game
The quality of the game was compromised by the flooded grass of the Alfredo Jaconi and the concentrated puddles in some areas of the field due to the rains. With 5 minutes, it became clear that the grass was in poor condition, when MP missed the chance to open the scoring after the ball stopped in the puddle and the ball stayed with goalkeeper Richard.

In the first chance for Ceará, at 7 minutes, Lucca finished, the ball came back to Matheusinho, who shot first and Jandrei defended. At 22 minutes, Fábio Lima finished, Richard palmed and Luizão cleared the danger. Three minutes later, the Juventude goal came: Marcos Paulo found Safira and kicked to open the scoring: 1-0.
Consequences of the result
With the result, Ceará suffered their 2nd consecutive defeat and are now close to the relegation zone. In 14th place with 17 points, the Alvinegro have only 2 points advantage over Londrina, the team that opens the relegation zone with 15 points. Ceará will play again on Thursday (4), against Goiás, at the Hailé Pinheiro stadium, Serrinha, at 8 pm.
